This is our blog about our fun and adventures in our 1979 VW T2 camper called Freckle.

Our adventures are in reverse order in the blog… the most recent post comes up first!

Freckle got her name when we showed Fraser, who was 3 at the time, around our new family member…. He said that the the lining of the cab looked like it had freckles, and I thought it was a jolly good choice!  The sun always shines in Freckle!

Freckle is our second VW camper van.  Our first love was a VW T25 called Archie.  Archie was well loved and gave us some happy times but when the time was right he went to live with our friends, and they cruelly sold him to someone in the north!  I’ve still not forgiven my cosmic twin!

Freckle and Archie are were friends and will we will always remember him!

Team Adamson includes Penny who is now 15 and Fraser age 13, Sarah (23 still) and Stew. Together we have so many fun adventures we thought that we would share them with you…. Maybe you’re as crazy about campers as we are, or maybe you are thinking about taking the plunge, but however you have come by our blog, I hope  you enjoy reading about our adventures as much as we enjoy having them.
